ABOUT THE PATTERN
Jaida is a simple top-down seamless cloak with one big, bold cable down the entire length of the back and textured moss-stitch edging and collar. The bottom edge dips downward in the back to form a high-low hem that adds length while conserving yarn. One size fits most with instructions to modify. Jaida calls for a warm, cozy wool or wool blend in worsted weight.

One Size Fits Most: about 58.5” [148.5 cm] around by about 32” [81.25 cm] long in the front and 37” [94 cm] long in the back

Yarn: 1700 yards [1560 m] Worsted weight
Sample used just under 1700 yards or 750 g Valley Yarns Amherst in color Jungle Green.
Needles: Size US 7 [4.50 mm] 32” [80 cm] or longer circular needle (or size needed to get gauge)
Notions: 6 stitch markers, 26 clippies, dpn or cn for cables, tapestry needle

18 sts and 22 rows = 4" [10 cm] in St st after blocking
