A memory from the past, or was it a dream - how ever did it begin…?

So simply, just a little loop and a few single crochets, what could be more innocent and pure? And then the dance slowly began, round after round of pleasure and joyous abandon; before I knew it I was in over my head and deeply in love. And I could not stop, even as I fell into a spiraling web beyond my control! I had never intended it to go this far, I swear by the old gods and the new, but I was possessed and held captive by my own desires.

And then it happened! A bold maneuver, designed to rescue me from the eternal chains – they stormed the citadel, riding 3 abreast, the double crochets standing tall and brave! Onward came the Queen’s Guard of doubles, and then my loyal single crochets took to the field, round after round! And finally, a flanking maneuver by a round of Reverse Single Crochets to release their Queen from the spell!
