Meet our Grand Bunny. She’s cute, cuddly and very, very big.
With giant bunny feet, big floppy ears, a soft bunny nose and 4 fully articulated legs, this Grand Bunny is a total show stopper.
This Grand Bunny takes time to knit, but is easy enough for advanced beginner knitters to tackle. It assumes an understanding of basic stitches (knit, purl, increase and decrease) and standard knitting terms. Our Grand Bunny is knit flat and sewn together using a mattress stitch. Our Grand Bunny can be knit all in one colour of yarn, but the pattern also offers alternate directions for knitting contrasting coloured paws on the arms and legs.
You will need ~560 m of medium weight yarn (one colour or a mix) and 3 m of medium weight black yarn for the eyes and nose. With this yarn, use 4.5 mm (US size 7) needles. You will also need stuffing and a tapestry needle to sew your bunny together.
