This pattern was designed with people very new to knitting in mind. My daughter who is 11 wants to knit but can just about remember the difference between a knit and purl stitch. Many patterns marketed as beginner are too hard for her and the ones that aren't are boring.
This pattern is different. If you can cast on, cast off, knit and purl then you can make this headband. What is more you will be amazed how easy it is to achieve the fantastic wave effect at the front!
If you aren't new to knitting this project would also be perfect for you. It is a quick and fun knit. You could complete it in just one evening in front of the TV with less than a 50g ball of yarn. And the finished headbands make great gifts!
Pattern includes instructions for sizes from 6 months to adult. All you need is up to 50g of yarn, 5.5mm/size 9 needles, a cable needle and a sewing needle and you are good to go!
