A lacy, quick to crochet, shawl pattern with two main sizes and guidance on how to make an intermediate or extra large size.
Gauge is not important as you can adjust the overall size to suit you. I also crochet in a very fluid fashion so if you crochet tightly you will require less yarn, or you can add extra rows.
You'll require approx 270m DK yarn for the small version and 510m for the large shawl. Any double knit yarn that is warm and gives nice drape will be suitable. However, I did find a crepe yarn too springy for the lace. Pattern also includes a guidance note on using a 4ply yarn for a finer look. Amount of 4ply required will depend on hook size chosen though.
