Crochet a beautiful blossom scarf for spring; the open twisted stitch gives a gorgeous texture without being too heavy, and contrasts with the chunky bobble stitch to create a modern scarf. Make it in bright contrasting shades or let the texture do the talking with just one colour.
The name came from both the colour and stitch choice; blossom is my favourite sign that spring is coming and the textured twisted lace stitch echoes the criss-crossing patterns created by bare tree branches, while the modern bobble stitch represents the appearance of new buds before they turn into blossom.
Skill level: Basic, you will need to know chain slip stitch and double crochet (US single crochet) stitches. Full instructions are given for the other stitches.
