Détails du produit

This shawl mimics the feathers of a peacock. Each eye in the feathers is of a different size, as if they are blinking in slow motion. The shawl is entirely crocheted with slip stitches.

The shawl is a crochet version of the knitting pattern "Drachenfeuer" by Michael Schmidt. Michael kindly permitted me to adapt his pattern.

Pattern includes written instructions and tutorials for increases and short rows. You should already know how to make F (front loop only slip stitch), B (back loop only slip stitch) and their inverses.

yarn: sock yarn in one or two colors. The one color version in the photo uses about 650 g of Lana Grossa Magico

note: If you don't want to use slip stitches, you can follow the same instructions using sc. For the feathery parts, I recommend back loop only sc, for the eyes the normal sc. This will affect the drape of the shawl, so be sure to make swatches. A bigger hook and/ or thinner yarn might work.

The pattern is available in English, German, Danish and Swedish.
