I tried crochet years ago when my kids were young but just didn't have time as a single mom with a full time job. Now that my kids are older, I have more ME time and picked crochet back up a few years ago, doing Helen Shrimpton's Mandala Madness! Something like that is a great way to learn a ton of interesting stitches, and lead me down the path of wanting to learn other types of crochet. Then I discovered overlay mosaic and got complete addicted! I had some ideas for designs and didn't see anything out there like what I was envisioning, so I tried designing my own back in October 2020, which was a great stress reliever during such a crazy year. You can probably tell by looking through my designs that I love all things colorful & whimsical, and have plenty more ideas in my head to keep adding to my collections!! I love the feel of yarn and the concept that simply making a bunch of loops with a metal hook can turn into something so magical & beautiful...
