Life is so short, and we have a limited supply of time to express ourselves and experience the world. I write knitting patterns because I can create something beautiful and tell a story with my hands. I want to spend time knitting--but I also want to spend time outside--hiking, kayaking, wandering trails and drinking in sunsets. That’s why you’ll find that my patterns aren’t super complex. I think life is complicated enough, so I want my knits to be like my life- simple, but full of beauty and feeling.
