    About

Regular viewers may remember that the first crocheted toy I ever designed was a slug called Heinrich. The reason I crocheted him was because I just didn’t have a clue how to create a similar shape with knitting. Then, about six weeks ago, I had a brainwave (whilst walking across a carpark in case you’re wondering)!

If I’ve been beavering away on a design, it can sometimes take me a few weeks to ‘see’ the finished project properly but I loved making Jurgen from the very beginning. I know he won’t be to everyone’s taste but I LOVE him. He’s the perfect size for squishing and his lovely little face cheers me up whenever I see him!

Whoops here I am saying "she "and just read your comment and Jorgen is a wee boy, sorry I think it's the pink tie. And I love him as well, your patterns are all fun and bright.

Haha, Jurgen doesn't mind, don't worry! To be honest, I'm not sure how you tell whether a slug is a girl or a boy. Without asking it, obviously! ;-) P.S. Thank you for your lovely comment! x
