Calvin & Hobbes fans might recognize the name of these mitts as one of Calvin’s calls to adventure.
Double-thick with an extra long cuff, the mitts are wicked warm and proven to stay put through any winter outing. They're knit in one piece, beginning with the fingertip edge of the liner and ending with the fingertip edge of the shell. The liner color is carried into the first few rows of the shell, creating a pop of color at the wrist.
These are a great way to do some stash-busting and use up any partial skeins you've been holding onto. Look for a worsted or light worsted superwash wool or wool blend.
I knit fairly loosely – please check your gauge as you may need to go up a needle size or two. Model is 9 months and is wearing the “Baby” size.
