Product Description
Named for the fantasy novel by Canadian author, Guy Gavriel Kay, Ysabel is a crescent-shaped shawl knit primarily in squishy garter stitch. The shawl's defining feature are the short row shaped stripes that are designed to highlight the gorgeous variegated colors of hand-painted yarns. Great pattern. It needs careful blocking to get the right shape. For some reason the edge border is excluded from the stitch count reminders which confused me a bit to begin with

Patterns are generally accurate and well explained. But the link indicated in this pattern did not work, so I had to turn to YouTube for help with short rows.
