Happy year of the rat my friends! The lunar calendar has come full circle and the year of the rat is the 1st to win the zodiac race. If you would like to learn more about the Zodiac Race and the Chinese Lunar Zodiac, please have a look at Youtube. There are so many wonderful videos to watch and learn.
Here I have made a small amigurumi for you to enjoy. I made these two for my son and his cousin for our festive Lunar New Year.
If you are using Paintbox Cotton Aran, you will need just 1 ball of each colour. The gold can be scrap yarn, you could also use scrap black yarn to make the nose and eyes.
