The second pattern in the Souvenir Skeins collection is here! This pattern was inspired by my visit to the French Quarter of New Orleans, and the beautiful balconies and railings on every building!
Pattern is written in US crochet terms. Yarn: Fingering/sock weight, approximately 280 (400) yards. I used Sugarplum Circus “Sugarplum Sock” for my sample, which contained 437 yards/100g. Hook: 3.5mm, or size needed to meet gauge. Note: About half of testers had to go down to a 3mm hook to meet gauge. Finished dimensions: Two sizes available, shown as Short (Long). About 8” tall, 21” (31”) wide (before blocking). 9” tall, 26” (38”) wide (after blocking). Gauge: Before blocking - 27 sc by 17 rows (in pattern) equal approximately 4” by 4”. After blocking - 23 sc by 16 rows (in pattern).
