I used the new Heart Loom in the 1/2" gauge 60 pegs Cindwood Looms. I used 2 colors in Lions Brand Hometown USA. It is a pretty beginner friendly pattern. You weave the heart then knit your way down to the brim. So it is a top down hat. Cute and fun thing is the heart shows form the back but the front it looks like ears. It has video tutorials along with written instructions.
