Wonder of Christmas

Traditional designs knitted in bright colors for a rather non-traditional Christmas stocking remind us of the wonder children show over all things Christmas. They ooh and aah over the tree, the lights and the ornaments. Their excitement at opening gifts is contagious. They are thrilled to ride around town at night to see the decorated houses. The way the children's faces light up at each of these is magical. This stranded stocking captures some of that magic.

The stocking is knit in the round from the top down with a narrow ribbed cuff, flap heel and star toe. Charted, stranded designs are knit into the leg and just above the toe of the stocking.
