Pick colors in the same family for a "fade" effect, or use contrasting yarns for bold stripes! This shawl can be knit in either fingering or sport weight.

There is some "padding" factored into the yardage, so you can use fingering weight skeins with 380+ yards per skein if you're careful about getting gauge.

Personal Note: I used 330 yards of Color A and 360 yards of Color B, so you should have plenty of yarn with 400 yard skeins if you check your gauge (for real, check your gauge :) )
