Wheelspoke Hat

Beanie hat pattern worked from the top down with raised "spokes" created with back post stitches, and horizontal line patterning between the "spokes". There is a really easy crochet ribbing finish to the hat which doesn't require any seaming.

Pattern includes two sizes: a baby or toddler size and an older child/teen/adult size. Instructions are included for making an every larger size.

After finishing R5, my piece had a diameter of 3 inches.

I used a DK weight yarn. The smaller size used about 35 g, and the larger size used about 80 g. I thrifted this yarn so I don't know its brand.

Two sizes of hooks are needed: 6.0 mm for most of the hat and 5.5 mm for the ribbing.
