Knit in a light violet, tweedy yarn, this hat embodies Wendla’s girlhood spent in the German countryside.
Sizes: Child 16” (Young Adult 20”, Large Adult 24”) Hat will stretch up to 1.5”
Gauge: 5 sts = 1” in Braided Cable Pattern in the round
Yarn: Rowan Hemp Tweed, 104 yrds each ball. (1 for Child size, 2 for Adult sizes). Sample Color: Plum (#132)
Needles: Size US #6 16” circular, US #8 16” circular, and US #8 double pointed needles, or any size necessary to obtain gauge
