Product Description
Since I have a real liking for nature’s most peculiar, weird, mysterious or misunderstood underdogs I decided to design some of them for anyone who wants to get to know these natural weirdo’s a little better!
The weedy seadragon is a striking underwater animal, that lives off the coast of Australia and is related to seahorses. These colorful critters have leaf-like appendages make them resemble the kelp they live in and they use their long snouts like a drinking straw and actually slurp up their food.... (how rude)! Not a whole lot is known about seadragons, a new - bright red - species was discovered as recently as 2015!
This particular weedy seadragon measures 28 cm from tail to snout. It is a medium knitting project, with some crocheting and quite a lot of embroidery (but the end result is worth all the effort).
Have a knitting g'day, mate!
