Walking on Rainbows

Get ready to walk your rainbow feet all the way to that pot of gold! The Walking on Rainbows socks were designed using my own hand dyed rainbow set of micro skeins. The socks feature a 10 colour rainbow that pops against a contrasting main colour that is also used for cuffs, heels, and toes. These socks are a perfect stash buster! The body of the sock is knitted all the way down to the toes with afterthought heels added at the end, and the pattern includes an afterthought heel tutorial. These socks will fit an adult ankle, and are adjustable to fit any length of adult foot as the placement of the afterthought heel is entirely personal to the sock wearer.

YOU WILL NEED: 50g main colour (I have used Millamia Naturally Soft Sock in colour Nautical), and 10 x 5g 4ply sock yarn (I have used my own hand dyed 10 x 10g Rainbow yarn set). You will also need 2.5mm needles (or size required to meet correct gauge) in your choice of circular or DPNs.
