GAUGE 24 sts and 40 rows = 4 inches (10cm) in linen st. 24 sts and 8 rows = 4 inches (10cm) in drop st. 24 sts and 24 rows = 4 inches (10cm) in 12 row pattern repeat. The pattern for the scarf consists of 10 rows of Linen stitch followed by 2 rows of the Drop stitch. These 12 rows are repeated to the end.
