“That’s a little bit Batman”, my youngest son tells me of this shawl as it dried on the blocking board.  “Maybe a little more Vicki Vale” was my reply.

Created to make the most of all the amazing coordinating and gradient mini skeins!

The main body of the shawl is worked first, then the edging is created using 4 additional colors.

Finished Measurements  60” 152.5 cm wingspan and 20” 51 cm deep at center

Materials

• 535 yds 489 m of fingering weight yarn; Shown: Lorna’s Laces, String Quintet, 80% merino 20% nylon, – 1 set in color “Bongo”
• F/5 (3.75 mm) or size to obtain correct gauge
• Tapestry needle

Gauge  2 repeats (sc, ch 2, sm fan, ch 2) and 14 rows = 4” 10 cm before blocking  2 repeats (sc, ch 2, sm fan, ch 2) and 8 rows = 4” 10 cm after blocking
