Valley Yarns Haydenville

Bought the Haydenville in a pretty sage green color because I'd literally JUST learned to knit and used up all the stuff that came in the kit I was gifted for Christmas. I wanted to try something nice, and all the videos said to try wool. It was on sale, so I went for it. The Haydenville is SO pleasant on my fingers! This yarn is so soft, knits easily, and it's washable. I knit a baby blanket for a grandnephew with the soft yellow. I liked the yarn so much I purchased more to knit an afghan for a grandniece who is grown up.

I ran short of yarn for a sweater I was knitting for one of my grandsons. No problem, right? Just order another skein. But I couldn't find a single skein online in the U.S. Love Crafts to the rescue! They had the exact color I needed and I received it in record time. The skein matched perfectly. This yarn is very soft and easy to work with. I used it to knit sweaters for all 3 of my grandsons and they are very pleased with them. What more could I ask for!

I really like the Haydenville yarn. It is soft and does not itch. There is a light sheen. My daughter loves the sweater I made with this yarn. I am now making one for myself.

Knits up a dream, with a beautiful elasticity, softness and sheen to the yarn. Stitches were well defined and glided off the needle. Downside being too many joins one of ithe balls I was using and yarn is loosely spun so it splits quite easily.

I LOVE THE VALLEY YARNS WITH WOOL AND ALPACA. NOT A COTTOM PERSON SO HAVEN'T USED THEM. I FIND THERE YARNS ARE SOFT AND EASY TO WORK WITH.

A bit thinner than I would have expected for worsted yarn, more like a DK in my opinion, though quite soft and knits well with good stitch definition. Also, the colour was quite different to the image kn the website

Soft, beautiful, but separates somewhat easily while crocheting.
