Besonders haben es mir die an Nord- und Ostsee angetan. Immer wieder verbringe ich dort strickend ganz wunderbare Stunden.

Wo Wellenrauschen und Möwengeschrei mich durch den Tag begleiten, wo der Blick auf das weite Meer nie langweilig wird und auch Schietwetter nicht schlimm ist.

UsedomShawl I love islands – no matter what time of year.

I am particularly fond of the North Sea and the Baltic Sea islands. I keep spending the most wonderful knitting time there.

Where the sound of waves and the cries of seagulls lead me through the day, where the view of the wide ocean never gets dull, and where “Schietwetter”, a Northern German term for bad weather, doesn’t matter.
