Two Phase Ami Kata Cowl

This pattern is inspired from a Japanese textile motif. It's a 2-color reversible cowl that can be done in either Malabrigo Sock or Malabrigo Arroyo. It combines 2 reversible techniques - Brioche and Double Knitting in the round. I have personally never seen these two techniques together despite being both reversible by nature. Since we all have different preferences on what we think a cowl should be and how we want to wear a cowl, just add or decrease 18 stitches from the recommended length (the chart horizontally) or 36 stitches from the recommended width (the chart vertically). And the beauty of two color knitting is that you can choose either two contrasting solids or a contrasting solid and variegated yarn.
