Product Description
This is a pattern for a knit shawl that features two lace (and cable-lace) stitches that come to us from Japan. The focal stitch is an intricate and unique (mock) cable lace stitch that makes quite a statement. The border stitches are also unique, but quite a bit easier to knit. Combined, they make a one of a kind shawl, quickly becoming an heirloom.
Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of cable-lace knitting).
The two stitches are charted only.
There are instructions for an OPTIONAL crocheted edging contained within the pattern
Any heavy fingering weight yarn or sport weight yarn will work for this pattern.
No crochet hooks are needed if you don't want to edge the shawl
