Truro Reversible Hat

This hat works up quickly in a bulky

yarn, with unusual cable crosses providing

great texture and depth. Should you

prefer a more traditional undulating

cable, simply wear with the “wrong”

side out (see last two photos).

Truro is worked in the round from the

bottom up, and is shown both with and

without an optional tassel.

Instructions for the cabled stitch pattern

are given in written form only.

**Difficulty is intermediate: **Skills include working in

the round, cable knitting, and a special

decrease which is similar to a Three-needle

Bind-Off.

Finished Sizes

141/2 (191/2)"/37 (49.5) cm circumference,

unstretched, to fit small children

and small-medium adults. Recommend

measuring wearer’s head for best fit;

most wearers prefer hats with 1-3" of

negative ease. Height of hat is approximately

71/2 (91/2)"/19 (24) cm.
