The Trina Cowl is lightweight and lacy. Crochet this little cowl in your favorite colors to add a splash of color to your outfit. The Trina Cowl is the perfect warm weather accessory with its open stitch work pattern. I crocheted the pictured Trina Cowl in Bamboo Pop Clover. I first used this bamboo cotton yarn in my Striped Slouchy Hat, and I’ve had this little ball of yarn in my stash since. It was just enough to design this summery cowl. This pattern works well in acrylic yarn as well. I would guess that you could even make it with a heavier weight yarn too. Bamboo Pop is a #3 lightweight yarn and just perfect for what I had in mind. However, I know many of us work in #4 worsted weight yarn more often and I think it would be a good substitute, if you would like to try it.
