Shetland maakin provides us with a link to our forebears, as we still knit in the same way. I like to think that the individual threads from each maaker gone by, has created a rich tapestry and formed a heritage to be proud of. Afterall, everything connects.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis pattern includes traditional Shetland motifs. I would recommend using 100% Shetland wool for best results.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe pattern is one size adult but the actual size can be changed quite dramatically using larger or smaller needle sizes.
