Tree Top Scarf

Turn your favourite skein of hand-dyed yarn into this beautiful scarf that features a classic, wavy lace pattern.

Tree Top Scarf is easy to knit while giving an impressive result. If you use a self-striping, multicoloured or handspun(-type) yarn, you’ll get wavy stripes.

I designed it as a “1-skein wonder“ and used a single 100 g - skein of fingering weight hand-dyed yarn for the sample shown.

The pattern provides lots of options for easy adjustments though if you wish to use a different yarn weight and/ or make a smaller/larger shawl according to the yarn/ yardage you have available.

This is a long sideways-knit shawlette or scarf. You start knitting at one tip, then work your way across to the opposite tip, creating an elongated diamond shape (with an optional middle part).

Fully written row-by-row as well as charted instructions are provided so you can choose which you prefer to work from.
