To complement the braids I used a waffle st reminiscent of the poodle (or bubble) socks worn by competitive Irish dancers, and the younger dancers in performances.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe Treble Jig Legwarmers are worked in the round, and I have included both written and charted instructions.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAdditional gauge information\u003c\/strong\u003e 17 sts (1 repeat of the stitch pattern) = 2.25”\/5.5 cm, blocked 20 rnds (5 repeats of the pattern) = 3”\/7.5 cm, blocked\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eDue to the elastic nature of the patterns used, there’s quite a bit of leeway in fit. Length can be easily adjusted longer or shorter as taste dictates, keeping in mind that longer warmers \u003cstrong\u003ewill\u003c\/strong\u003e require \u003cstrong\u003emore\u003c\/strong\u003e yarn than the amount given above.
