Product Description
Garter stitch and lace stripes in two colours create a gorgeous and versatile shawl. The wavy lace makes the garter stitch ripple beautifully and means you’re in for an engaging knit.
Touchstone is knitted diagonally from one corner to the opposite side creating an asymmetric triangle that drapes wonderfully. Pick your favourite colours in fingering weight wool and put this shawl on your needles!
The pattern has complete written instructions and optional charted instructions for the lace.
YARN Two skeins of Malabrigo Mechita (100% Merino; 384 m / 420 yds per 100 g) in different colours. Shown in colours Polar Morn (C1) and Sand Bank (C2). Or similar fingering weight yarn.
YARDAGE Colour 1 (C1): 346 m / 378 yds Colour 2 (C2): 307 m / 336 yds
Shawl is worked flat but I recommend using a 100 cm / 40 inch circular needle to accommodate the growing number of stitches.
