What Is Being Made

Materials Required

Yarn: The pattern calls for 50 grams of fingering weight yarn (4-ply), which provides approximately 465 yards per 100 grams. The sample sock was knit using FruitFul Fusion in the Winter Bouquet colorway, a blend of 75% Superwash Merino and 25% Nylon. This fiber composition offers durability, easy care, and elasticity ideal for sock construction.

Needles: 2.25 mm / US 1 needles or the size required to achieve the correct gauge. Circular needles or double-pointed needles are suitable for working socks in the round.

Notions: A tapestry needle is needed for weaving in yarn ends and finishing the completed socks.

Gauge and Fit

The pattern specifies an unblocked gauge of 36 stitches and 40 rows per 4 inches (10.1 cm) worked in stockinette stitch. Achieving the correct gauge is essential for proper sock fit.
