Third Beach is part of the book Tempest, a collection of handknits designed by Holli Yeoh for SweetGeorgia Yarns.
A quick little project combining a double strand of Silk Fog in a simple lace pattern with the luxurious CashLuxe Fine done in contrasting garter ridges. Two buttonholes are worked on one end, but don’t let that limit you from using the holes in the lace pattern as buttonholes! Sew on several buttons for lots of options when wearing, or just use a couple. The cowl can be worn loose as shown as well as snug and cozy around the neck or at a rakish, asymmetrical angle.

Skills Required
Basic knitting skills, yarn overs, k2tog/ssk decs, working from simple lace chart or written instructions, knit-on edging, picking up stitches, sewing on buttons.
