I had the idea for this sock pattern in 2019. Hubby and me spent some wonderful days at the isle Ruegen at the Baltic sea. In the small village Thiessow we've visited a local market and I bought some sock yarn by a local dyer. With this yarn I've knitted the prototype of Thiessow. My husband loves these socks and wears them a lot.
