The Little Red Riding Hood and Wolf

The project is knitted flat and sewn up at the end. No need for circular knitting. The knitting skill required is basic knit and purl.

Yarn used 4-ply (fingering) yarn • [A] 5g coral Pink • [B] 5g peach • [C] A small amount of red • [D] A small amount of white • [E] A small amount of soft brown • [F] A small amount of 4-ply brown • [G] 10g grey • Toy stuffing • Lace ribbon • Two pairs of 4mm black beads • Black and white cotton thread • Pink pastel or cheek makeup

About the yarn used Sirdar Snuggly 4-ply, 50g per 226m, 55% Nylon, 45% Acrylic

Tension 28 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10cm square worked in St st (not essential)

Tools • 3.0mm knitting needles • A chenille or tapestry needle • Scissors • All-purpose sewing needle

Practical tips • Leave long ends at the beginning and end for sewing. • Sew seam with RS facing, using mattress stitch. • Make large French knots for eyes if you do not wish to use beads.
