Product Description
The Dragon’s Tale can be a simple scarf, or a fierce protector of the neck!
This is the updated version, with new charts and a choice of round or flat head. (The original from 2014 with old charts and flat-only head is also available, with a German translation and 250 projects for inspiration.)
The Dragon’s Tale is worked as a long, narrow crescent, or well-fed serpent shape, with head & tail to drape possessively around your person and peer imperiously at strangers, or flick its tail in warning if someone gets too close…
The design uses minimal lacework - each row has a single increase and decrease in each row of the border, creating the rippling, sinuous edge with an integrated I cord border.
The Dragon’s Head is shaped by cables, and can be worked either flat (as in the rest of the scarf) or in the round like a sock (or sock puppet).
The scarf can be worked entirely from the written pattern or from charts with notes.
Length and width are adaptable.
