Teneriffe Shawl

Teneriffe shawl is a semi-circle shawl worked top down in one piece. It features the stripes in Stockinette stitch, Slip stitch crosses pattern in the center and delicate lace border. Finished with Picot bind-off.

Size: After blocking, approx.: 72.4” wingspan, 23.6” depth (184 cm wingspan, 60 cm depth). The final measurements depend on chosen yarn, needles size, your personal gauge and also, the amount of times the pattern is repeated.

Materials and tools:**

**Yarn: any lace, heavy lace, light fingering or fingering weight yarn. Yarn A (main colour) - approx. 80 - 100 g; Yarn B (contrasting colour) - approx. 50 - 60 g. All yarn together approx. 100 - 150 g (440 - 650 yards/ 400 - 600 m).

Needles: US 4 (3.5 mm) 32” (80 cm) or 40” (100cm) circular needles;and 4 markers.

Knitting skills: basic knitting skills, kfb, K2tog, skp, slip knitwise, wyif, wyib, lace knitting.
