Teacher Gifts Gonk Gnomes

I think most of us will have memories of a great teacher or teaching assistant. So I thought why not create something for them to say thank you.

15 page pattern with photo’s for your reference. Worked flat on 2 needles.

I do allow the finished products from my patterns for charity or by hobby sellers please ensure designer details are also included.

The gonk/gnome measure 8” tall from top of head to sole of shoe. The apples measure 6” with facial features and 5” without facial features. Pencil measure 5.5 x 2.5”

Gauge isn’t important just needs to be compact so that stuffing doesn’t show through.

Any colour combinations can be used.

Materials needed: Needles UK No 10 (3.25mm) US 3 & No8 (4mm) US 6 Tapestry/Darning needle for sewing up Toy stuffing

Suggested colours – DK/8ply 35g Red 25g Brown 20g Skin tone 15g Beard (king cole moments) 40g Green 10g dark green (leaves) 12mm eyes

for pencil few grams of each colour is plenty
