Sweet Charity Stole

I previously offered this pattern as a free download, however I unfortunately noticed that it has been sold on other internet sites without my permission. Therefore I've reached a tough decision to charge a nominal fee in the hope that this doesn't happen again! I hope you all understand! Any money made on the sale of the pattern will be donated to the charity which it was originally knit for - the Children's Cancer Ward of the University Clinic in Mainz, Germany - which is very close to my heart!)

This is a simple-to-knit stole which becomes very effective with blocking. I used one skein of Wollmeise Merino Superwash but any yarn may be substituted. A suggestion is below.

The stole can be worn “bunched” together in Winter as a warm neck scarf or worn in Summer as a light, airy shawl.

The pattern takes almost no memorizing – at the most there are only 4-stitch-repeats on the Nupp Border Section. The only counting that is needed is for the centre diamond.
