Sweater Weather Mitts

Sweater Weather Fingerless Mittens - a stranded colorwork design featuring cozy sweaters and snowflakes. The design will work with either light on dark or dark on light as long as there is enough contrast in your colors. The left and right mittens are identical, so you can knit them two at a time.

Materials

US Size 0 (2mm) set of dpns or circular needles (for Magic Loop method), US Size 00(1.75mm) needles for the ribbing (optional)

Fingering weight yarn - 231y/50 g (211m/50 g). About 161 y/35 g of each background and contrast color; 323y/70 g total.

Gauge: 9 sts x 13 rows (knitting in the round) in 1” x 1” after blocking
