Sweater "Give peace a chance!"

As you know, I am in love with Portugal and its mosaic sidewalks. On the hunt for new patterns, I found one with a political background: the memorial for John Lennon in New York Central Park. We do not live in peaceful times. But we could, if we gave peace a chance! Even though the memorial is Italian craftsmanship, it belongs in my series of beautiful sidewalk patterns. For this piece, I chose the colours of the blue international peace flag with the white dove.

Wie Ihr wisst, gilt meine Liebe Portugal und seinen Mosaik-Gehwegen. Auf der Suche nach neuen Mustern fiel mir ein politisches auf: das Mahnmal für John Lennon im New Yorker Central Park. Wir leben nicht in friedlichen Zeiten. Aber wir könnten, wenn wir Frieden eine Chance geben würden! Auch, wenn das Mahnmal von italienischen Handwerkern stammt, gehört es in meine Strick-Reihe mit wunderbaren Gehweg-Mustern. Gearbeitet habe ich es in den Farben der internationalen blauen Friedensflagge mit der weißen Taube.
