The best designer shops are full of stripey bobble beanies right now but with price tags up to £70 ($120) I think its best to knit your own for just a fraction of that price. This knitting pattern uses my superfast technique of knitting with 3 strands of dk yarn at once on 8 mm needles which is 4 times faster than normal knitting. This hat should take no longer than 3 hours to make including the bobble (pom-pom). The knitting pattern provides full instructions for 4 sizes XS,S,M & L so can be made for babies to adults with a head circumference between 16-24 inches.
