This is a crochet pattern for a super chunky, ribbed textured, scarf with braided cable design pockets and optional fringe.
The scarf is made using Super Chunky (US Super Bulky) #6 weight yarn. I have used 100% acrylic yarn, but you can use any type of yarn you prefer.
My finished scarf measures approximately 8 feet long by 1 foot wide. You can adjust the length to suit the wearer. See below for children’s size adjustments. You can also scale this scarf pattern down for kids sizes by reducing your yarn and hook size.
