Sunny Day Coaster

A crochet coaster is a must-have accessory for the summer months when that glass that holds your favorite beverage starts to “sweat”.

The Sunny Day crochet coaster is the perfect solution to those dreaded water ring stains. The fun design evokes images of a beaming sun, perfect for your decor this summer. And, it doesn’t take a lot of yarn, making it the ideal stash-busting project.

Whip one up in an evening (or make a whole set) and use your new crochet coaster in no time. It makes a great housewarming gift, too!

//Construction: The 3 rounds of a flat circle are followed by a round of varying height stitches that turn the circle into a square. The decorative twisted border is created by the reverse single crochet, a simple stitch that’s easy to work.

//The PDF includes detailed written instructions, plus a crochet chart to show stitch placement.
