SUN and STARS Blanket UK

What better way to celebrate the arrival of a baby than with a splash of suns and stars.   This is the perfect pram or cot blanket for a boy or girl.  

A simple octagon and a small square create this warm and comfy blanket made from organic wool cotton yarn.

DIFFICULTY:  Intermediate

MEASUREMENTS:  Blanket consisting of 20 octagon motifs will measure approximately 76cm/30in by 61cm/24in

YARN USED:  Rowan Belle Organic Aran ●50g/90m/98yd ● MC 5 balls ● CC 4 balls 

NOTIONS:  5mm hook, Yarn needle

PATTERN NOTES:  Each round is completed before changing colour, the yarn is left at the back of the work for the next row.
