Worked from the center out in 6 rounds for the ornament and 9 rounds for the coaster. The appearance of color work is created without ever needing to change yarn colors within a round - the snowflake motif is created from alternating single color rounds using interlock crochet technique and front post stitches. This creates a beautiful design and also makes a dense fabric perfect for a stuffed ornament or a coaster. The ornament looks the same on both sides. You will need 2 contrasting yarns in sport or DK weight.
