A lovely stripy baby's beanie hat PDF knitting pattern, for ages 0-6m; 6-12m and 12-24m.
This pattern is for circular needles, and includes hints and tips on how to avoid a jog in the stripes.
Using Aran weight yarn in 3 colours it's a great pattern for using up small amounts of yarn, and with the addition of the pompom ears, this would make an ideal gift for a baby.
We used DROPS Nepal, but other Aran weight yarns can be used, i.e. Lana Grossa Cool Wool Alpaca; Yarn Stories Fine Merino and Baby Alpaca Aran; King Cole Merino Blend Aran; or Schachenmayr Wool 85.
You will need circular needles in sizes 4.5 and 5mm, and ideally a cable length of 40cms.
