Experienced but need to whip up a quick Father’s Day gift? Then Stepping Up is for you too!
A simple cable transforms a basic sock to one with more pizazz, suitable for both men and women. The leg length is 7 1/2” (19.1cm), but can be made shorter by reducing the number of pattern repeats.
Leg circumference will accommodate up to a 12” (30.5cm) calf. Foot circumference will accommodate up to 10” (25.5cm) width. Wider widths can be achieved by going up a needle size.
HiKoo’s CoBaSi is a great sock yarn for year round wear and is machine washable. Two skeins were required for Stepping Up. If you intend to substitute a different yarn, ensure the percentage of elastic is 20% for best results.
